£125,000 to come up with slogan

Leisure and tourism is a major boost to any economy, but for whatever the reasons local authorities feel the need to tell people where they are when they leave the airport, you would have thought that they would have known where they were going to!

Anyway the people at Glasgow airport have replaced all of their signs to “Welcome to Scotland” which is just totally amazing, especially as it took over six months to come up with and cost an estimated £125,000! They are so liberal with our money!

The new signs have not been given a warm welcome by some people saying that they lack emotion etc, even though the new signs have images of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness on, but you just cannot please everyone these days.
