Leisure Travellers Prefer Online Insurance

The internet has changed the face of many business sector and one of the major changes is the financial services industry and in particular the insurance sector. People are now able to search all the major providers and get the quote that suits them, rather than the other way around.

One major winner for both provider and client is the travel insurance business, this used to be the domain of travel agents, but now it is estimated that almost half of all travellers are buying their travel insurance online and seventy per cent buy some sort of cover online.

This is great for both customer and the industry too.
