NASA may go to Venus

NASA could be sending a fleet of craft to Venus in the not too distant future, but the craft used will not only be the usual rocket powered, as NASA are experimenting with high altitude balloons. Could this be the future of space travel?

The plan will be considered to go in around fifteen years time, but with an estimated cost of around $3 to $4 billion and a launch date estimated to be around 2020 and 2050 will the Venus Mission ever get off the ground?

The results of the study are due to be released during April and is expected to outline the planned trip to the planet that is often referred to as being the Earths sister planet. Although the chances of any life as we know it is not likely due the 450 degree temperatures.
