University offers Beatles degree

There are many college courses around that cover many hundreds if not thousands of subjects. However, most of these subjects are the standard type that you would expect to find on a university prospectus. Therefore, when a course turns up offering a Master of Arts degree on the subject of the Beatles, it is bound to be of interest.

Naturally, there is only one place that this course could ever be taken and that just happens to be the University of Liverpool the home of the Beatles, who are claiming that this course is the first of its kind.

Of course, we shouldn’t be surprised at this course, after all, there has been around eight thousand books published on this subject and the band are actual icons of the sixties and seventies for both the UK and the USA.
