Murdering cats to be tagged

They may sit on the sofa and look as if butter would not melt in their mouths, but it turns out that the average family pet cat is a ruthless assassin with an average of five kills per year to chalk up.

It is estimated that the total kill for the country’s cats runs into millions and those people who care about who care about the cats victims want these professional killers tagged to track them and see exactly what they are getting up to.

The kill totals are estimated to be in the region of a hundred and fifty million birds, mice and rabbits every single year, the cat has even been blamed for the reduction in sparrows too. This research will find out exactly how many victims these cats have.
