Young actors still living in slums

It looks as if the film Slumdog Millionaire is becoming a victim of its own success, as it turns out the young acting stars Rubina Ali and Azharuddin Ismail are not only still living in the slums where they found, but in fact are worse off than before.

The film had more than £8 million for its budget, yet this did not filter its way all the down the staff ranks, it has been discovered that Ali earned £500 and Ismail earned £1,700 which is still less that domestic servants earn in the region.

However, what is even worse is the fact that the boy Ismail is now homeless as well because his families hut was demolished, therefore he is sleeping on the streets under a plastic sheet, Ali is lucky, she lives in a hut!
