UK hit by heavy snow
One day everything was all right, people could travel around freely and everywhere was open.
Then suddenly, almost literally overnight, everything changed and the UK was covered in heavy snow, which caused chaos. Almost all transport services began to grind to a halt, trains, road and even airports suffered under the weight of snow.
It is said that this is worst snowfall for nearly twenty years and for one day the country began to grind to a halt, it is frightening to consider the consequences should this snow fall had of continued for several days.
Yet the next day you could hardly notice that the snow was ever here, it is amazing how one single day of bad weather can bring a country like the UK, with six million people not turning up for work and an estimated loss to business of around £1 billion.
