X Factor is fastest selling singer

For the first time three versions of the same song are in the Top 40 music charts, but the number one spot has been claimed by the winner of the talent show the X Factor, Alexandra Burke who become the fastest selling female solo artist with a massive 576,000 sale of CD’s and music downloads.

Another version of the song Hallelujah this time by Jeff Buckley is at number two in the charts, while the original version by Leonard Cohen made it into the charts at number thirty six; this version was originally recorded more than twenty years ago.

This song has been recorded over a hundred and seventy times, but none can match the sales that the X Factor winner has achieved.
