Dark Knight to be best selling DVD

Batman has been around for decades and has been played by many great and not so great actors, but it is not the favourite Batman that we are talking about at the moment, it is the imminent rise of the Dark Knight in DVD charts.

The film is set to become the week’s top seller, but with around ten million sales, the film is set to become one of the biggest films of the year.

If rentals are taken into consideration then the figures rise to an amazing thirteen and half million discs, which includes a massive 1.7 million on the blu-ray format.

At the moment, it is Iron Man, which is topping the charts, but as the Dark Knight has only been out a week so far, it is bound to take the top spot in the last couple of weeks of the year.
