You cannot remember bad things when drunk

It would appear that drinking influences the brains ability to remember. Which would explain by drunk people never remember their actions.

Research being undertaken by Professor Theodora Duka, from the department of experimental psychology at the University of Sussex has found that the memories formed before people drink become more prominent, this causes the memories of when they are drunk to fade.

It was found that most drinkers can always remember what happened when they first started socialising but as the evening progresses and they begin to get merrier, they fail to remember all of the bad things that may have happened.
