Web browsing to be monitored

If the government get their way a massive data base will be built and no this is not going to be a list of names and addresses, this is going to be much more serious than that, in fact Big Brother will not be watching you, it will be monitoring your online activities.

It has been said that the government has been gradually chipping away at the freedom of the people; this may be true or may not be true it depends on your point of view. But the plan for this data base has been called a step too far for the British way of life.

Even the information commissioner has said that these plans will seriously affect the freedom of the people to go about their daily lives as they wish.

But the government claim that they need to monitor the emails, sms, browsing, searching and even online purchases of everyone in their fight against terrorism and crime.
