Smoking marijuana could make you homeless

As we in the UK end to follow a lot of what happens in the US, this story should act as a reason why we should our own path on legal issues or maybe not, some people may think that this is perfectly ok.

The story follows a 68 year grandmother who is facing eviction from her home; she lives public housing, the equivalent of council or housing associations here. But because her grandson was caught with some marijuana the whole family now could be homeless as the policy for public housing is one strike and your out.

Yet throughout the news there are always stories of celebrities who regularly take drugs etc, but because they live in mansions nothing is done about it, because it is personal use etc.

There are going to be some people who think that this is a great idea, but is it? Making a family homeless is only going to make thing worse.
