Living the island life
It is strange that being stranded on an island can be a total nightmare you only have to watch Lost or Robinson Crusoe to see why, but funnily enough it seems that holidaying on a tropical island is one of the most desirable holidays.
However as with many of these type of holidays the matter of how much it is going to cost will always come somewhere in the equation, a week at one of the most famous will set you back around £12,000 per couple. But there some cut price bargain islands out there where the prices start at around £50 per night. Now that’s better, so here’s the list:
Whipray Caye Lodge, on the Belize Barrier Reef
Chapwani Private Island, in Tanzania
Caye Chapel Island Resort in Belize
Robinson Crusoe Island in Fiji
Nangyuan Island Dive Resort in the Gulf of Thailand
Tiger Islands Village & Eco Resort, on Macan Island in Indonesia
Cooper Island Beach Club and Pusser’s Marina Cay—both in the British Virgin Islands
